There is no doubt.
The world is changing.
While we have all faced great uncertainty, stress, and even chaos and loss in 2020, most of us sense or hope that this is all a part of something much bigger: a change for the better. Have you had the time and clarity to digest the lessons of 2020? Have you felt the glimmering light we sometimes catch glimpses of, guiding us into a new way of relating, living, and loving? Is your path for 2021 clear?
Join us for an absolutely unforgettable online, live broadcast, as we hear and feel the deep wisdom of nine extraordinary teachers. Both live, and live recorded, and never before seen, our host, two-time bestselling author Jonathan Ellerby PhD will interview each luminary to capture and explore their most precious lessons from 2020 and their most powerful paths and visions for 2021. Each wisdom-keeper brings decades of study, leadership, and practice to their message; each a great master in their field.
This event is hosted by the Althea Center for Engaged Spirituality in Denver, Colorado, and offers something special and important to people all over this planet. 100% of our ticket price goes to our non-profit work, sharing similar live and online events, workshops, and classes, and supporting programs like the Denver Women’s Homelessness Initiative, Sisters of Color United for Education, the Mariposa LGBTQ Program for outreach, education, and support, AA support groups, The Saint Francis Center for the Homeless, as well as many incredible events that have helped to lift up ecological, inter-racial, and social issues.
Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D.:
Medical anthropologist Alberto Villoldo has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Andes for more than 25 years. He is the founder of the Four Winds Society, which trains modern shamans in the practice of energy medicine. He directs the Center for Energy Medicine in Chile, where he investigates and practices the neuroscience of enlightenment.
Over the course of two decades with the shamans in the jungles and high mountains of the Andes, Villoldo discovered a set of sacred technologies that transform the body, heal the soul, and can change the way we live and die.
He learned that we are more than flesh and bone – we are fashioned of Spirit and light, surrounded by a Luminous Energy Field whose source is located in infinity. This Energy Field envelops every cell of our bodies, acting as a matrix that maintains our physical and spiritual health and vibrancy … it is up to us to recognize and work with this field to change the very nature of our being and heal ourselves.
In 1986, at the bottom of a ten-year spiral into depression and self-loathing, Byron Katie woke up one morning in a state of joy. She realized that when she believed her stressful thoughts, she suffered, but that when she questioned them, she didn’t suffer, and that this is true for every human being. Her simple yet powerful process of self-inquiry, which she calls The Work, consists of four questions and the turnaround, which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe.
Katie has been bringing The Work to millions of people for more than thirty years. Her public events, weekend workshops, intensives, and nine-day School for The Work have brought freedom to people all over the world.
Her books include the bestselling Loving What Is, I Need Your Love—Is That True?, A Thousand Names for Joy, and A Mind at Home with Itself.
